If you're new to Ohio's maple industry, there's one pleasant surprise you will realize early – community. Producers are quick to collaborate, share their expertise and help each other out in the sugarbush, even if they're selling products to the same community of buyers.

Pierre is proud to embody this characteristic and has agreed to help two local community nonprofits in their efforts this maple season.

At Hopewell Therapeutic Farm, Pierre has trained the staff on how to use the equipment in their sugarhouse, while also lending some equipment in kind for their operation. His shared expertise will help Hopewell collect, produce and sell syrup to help advance their mission.

For Hershey Montessori School, Butternut Maple Farm is collecting sap and boiling for their private label syrup offerings in exchange for a portion of the total proceeds.

We are proud to pay it forward and hope you'll support these partners in addition to our small business!
